Meet Andreea Scurtu

Gardens & Projects was founded by Andreea Scurtu, whose background in Architecture, Art, Garden Design and Sustainable Design continues to shape every project the studio undertakes.

Having studied and worked in Italy for more than 15 years, Andreea developed a design philosophy that combines contemporary aesthetics with a deep respect for landscape, ecology and the way people interact with outdoor spaces. Her experience has influenced a design approach that is both creative and highly considered, ensuring every garden responds naturally to its surroundings rather than following trends or standard layouts.

She believes that a successful garden should feel like an effortless extension of the home. Every decision, from layout and materials to planting and spatial flow, is made with the intention of creating gardens that are enjoyable to live in throughout the seasons while remaining sensitive to the character of the site.

Because every project represents a significant investment, Andreea works closely with each client throughout the design process. Using photorealistic 3D garden visualisations, fully scaled digital models and immersive video garden walkthroughs, clients can explore their future garden before construction begins, making design decisions with confidence and clarity.
